YEAR 9

Students in Year 9 start their GCSE courses. In addition to their core subjects, in 2015-16 students had four options to choose from. To ensure all students had a broad and balanced curriculum, they all had to choose one EBACC option from: History, Geography, Computing, French or Spanish. The remaining three could be any of the subjects listed. Blocks are established once the students have chosen their subjects, so that the maximum number of students can access the courses that interest them.
