Leeds Rotary Young Citizen Award 2017

Girls & Certificates

Well done to Katie Handley and Emily Hancock (Year 11 students) who were recognised at the Leeds Rotary Young Citizen Awards at the Banquesting Suite, Leeds Civic Hall on the 16th January 2017 for their outstanding service to the community.

Lord mayor & girls

Katie and Emily work extremely hard to raise funds by organising coffee mornings at the local St George's Church.  Their efforts have benefited a number of charities including MacMillan Cancer Research,  Alzheimers Society and The Dogs Trust.  The girls have also assisted the local Calverley Rotary Club by supporting their Christmas campaign for the elderly.

The recognition that Katie and Emily have received is very well deserved and we wish the girls every success with their future fund raising ventures.

Pudsey Grangefield School Badge Transparent - Small

A Level results day: Thursday 15th August

We would like to congratulate all of our Year 13 students on their results. It has been a privilege to teach them over the past seven years and we wish them all the best for the future.

We do not normally single out individual students but we are going to make an exception this year as the following student encapsulates the values of the school and the quality of the education that our Sixth Form students receive. This student also demonstrates why we are the only school-based Sixth Form in the whole west area of Leeds that is rated as good by Ofsted.

Cameron Lee achieved A* grades in his A level maths, further maths and physics. In addition to this Cameron also achieved A grades in chemistry and Spanish. As a result Cameron has been accepted to study mathematics at Oxford University from September. Cameron has demonstrated our values of respect, resilience, integrity, compassion and ambition throughout his seven years at Pudsey Grangefield School and we are sure he has a bright future ahead of him.

The photo below shows Cameron on results day with Mr Williams (our Director of Studies for Year 13).
