Remembering our PGS war heroes

During the summer break we arranged for the war memorials that were displayed in the old school building to be restored by a local French polisher. The beautifully revived plaques are permanently on display at the front entrance to the school and have been a real talking point for our students. The memorials will be included in our annual Remembrance Service.

The memorials commemorate the young men, ex-Pudsey Grammar School students, who laid down their lives in the Great War.
