Applications and admissions
We warmly welcome applicants from other schools, and work hard to ensure they have a smooth transition and a meaningful induction to Pudsey Grangefield.
Deciding where to go and what to study at Post 16 is one of the most important decisions and we want to support students in making the right choices. Interviews are offered to help determine the most suitable combination of courses and we also have a ‘Transition Day’ in June to allow all students to meet their teachers and get a taste of what their chosen courses can offer.
Every year 11 students receives a 1:1 discussion regarding their Post 16 progression. Subsequent to this a provisional place may be awarded dependant on exam results. Every student must attend the meeting with an up to date CV, personal statement, Post 16 progression form and latest academic report.

Students apply by completing the Post 16 Application Form (see link below). Alongside this they must also send an up to date CV, personal statement and latest academic report to Mrs Smith at email@example.com. A reference request will be made to their current school. Once all the documentation has been received, including the reference from their current school they will be invited in for an interview with a member of the Post 16 team. Subsequent to this an offer may be made dependent on exam results.
If an offer is made attendance is required on the Transition Day to ensure the correct courses have been chosen.
